Challenge Partners
We have the highest expectations of ourselves as a school, and are keen to ensure that we continue to go from strength to strength. In March 2020 we invited an external organisation called Challenge Partners to carry out a review of our school. We intended to share this much earlier with parents, but due to the recent circumstances this has been delayed.
The three day review was a thorough, in-depth process, carried out by a serving OFSTED inspector as lead reviewer and three other school senior leaders from other primary schools. They observed lessons as well as interviewing senior staff and students. Their conclusions were extremely positive, highlighting a large number of key successes including: the highly ambitious vision; the distinctive Catholic ethos; and the infectious enthusiasm, passion and commitment of all staff.
We were awarded the highest grade of ‘Leading’ in all areas; we have been advised that this is only awarded to the top 10% of schools.
The report also highlighted some areas for further development and these will be used to underpin the next stage of school development planning.
Whilst we were delighted with the outcome of this review, rest assured that we remain committed to continually improving the school for the benefit of all our pupils.
